Magic and Machines is a full version retro fantasy RPG developed by Little Bear Studios for Windows. This game features turn-based battles, puzzles, and six unique characters. The game takes place in a decaying world where the player must uncover the mystery behind the world’s destruction. The game is perfect for players who grew up with turn-based RPGs and are looking for a new adventure while also being accessible to new players.

The game is inspired by classic RPGs such as Chrono Trigger, Golden Sun, and Octopath Traveler. Magic and Machines features a simplified RPG element such as progression or equipment setups, while still providing enough mechanics for players to strategize. It is easy to pick up and play for short bursts or a longer sit down. The game features a party of six unique party members with varying abilities, each with their own elemental powers that can alter the terrain of the world, uncovering hidden secrets and solving puzzles.

The turn-based battle system with its Overload mechanic lets players supercharge a move after using it twice, making attacks stronger, effects last a turn longer, and heals surpassing the player's maximum health. With Magic and Machines, players can form their party of three from six characters, explore and discover secrets, and use strategy to defeat their foes.
